The mother of all sheet masks!
So guys, this week was ALL about trying new products, before I could write a review about the other Garnier Sheet Masks, I just HAD to write this one!
The Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask by Skin Republic, I call it the mother of all sheet masks and I’ll tell you why, but first ..
What is it?
This is a Two Step Mask, first step being the double action microdermabrasion and peel with fruit enzymes and the second one being the Hyaluronic Acid + Collagen Face Mask Sheet.
What does it do?
Step One - the fruit acids exfoliate and remove dry skin to get your skin prepared for good absorbtion of the serum in the sheet mask.
Step Two - Hyaluronic Acid and Collagen serum helps the skin with lifting dull, loose skin, makes your skin firmer, smoother, plump and hydrated.
So what do I think?
Okay, so I was a little skeptical about this mask only because it contains fruit enzymes which I wasn’t sure my skin would like.. but, I had heard such amazing reviews about this mask I had to try it and review it. I bought two packets and tried them both within a span of 5 days.
Did it work?
The first time I tried it, step one blew my mind, its a creamy substance which you need to massage on your face for a minute or so, while massaging you’ll start seeing flaky, dry skin rubbing off, like instantly. After step one, my skin was already glowing, like literally shining looked polished. Step two, was a mask which I left on for about an hour, (yeah I generally wear the mask and forget about it until it dries) what I thought was amazing, is with any other mask I’ve noticed the sheet dries up in that much time, but this one still had serum soaking in it. Anyway, I removed it and let my face be for another hour before I washed it. And WOWZA! I could feel the firmness and the tightness on my face, like I got a face lift. The best part was my skin felt baby soft and super nourished. The second time around, I left it on my face for a shorter time period and the results were the same. Although, step one removed lesser dry skin than the first time!
