Bed Head Urban Anti-Dote Recovery Level 2 Shampoo

I check reviews myself before I buy any product, although I read mixed reviews about this one, to be quite honest, I loved the colour of the packaging compared to the other Bed Head Shampoos, so I bought it. I used the Level 2 Recovery Shampoo by Bed Head for about two weeks!

WHAT DOES THE SHAMPOO CLAIM TO DO?

Well, the name says it all! It is a Shampoo for Dry and Damaged hair, it claims to give your hair a moisture boost which makes the hair soft , manageable and gives it a smooth shine. It ‘recovers’ your hair from all the damage it’s endured.

HOW IS IT?

I only picked up the shampoo because I had an entire tube of conditioner of another brand. Any who, I used it for two weeks. It has an amazing fragrance, the texture is soft and spreads easily, the tube is quite big and bulky, with enough product to last you a while.

DID IT WORK?

Like I said, I used it only for two weeks, which would mean about 10 hair washes. The first few times, it made absolutely no difference to my hair in anyway. It didn’t make it better or worse. The conditioner I was using is a product I have used for a long time. The next few washes I changed my conditioner to something more subtle so it didn’t over power the shampoo. Over the next few washes my hair became drier, easily tangled and because my ends are coloured blonde, it looked like hay. I was extremely disappointed with this product, BUT, my hair is highly chemically treated, not every shampoo or conditioner can do it’s magic on my hair. So, I gave it to my husband to use it.

DID IT WORK ROUND 2?

Nope! He hated it, by the third wash, he refused to use the shampoo. It made his hair dry and brittle, so it wasn’t my hair it was in fact the shampoo.

MY THOUGHTS!

I have never been so disappointed by a product, not only did it not do what it claims, but it made our hair worse than before.
