Another day, another sheet mask, another review!

Anytime I see a Korean sheet mask, I don’t think twice before buying it. They have failed to disappment so far. So, when I saw the Arbutin Healing Essence Mask, I obviously bought a couple of them.

WHAT DOES THIS MASK DO?

Arbutin is a glycoside which is basically a lightening agent, they claim to give the skin an even tone finish. “Unlike other sheet masks, the result can be seen instantly with just one use”. The mask helps with tightening the skin, making it soft and giving your skin a glow. This is an anti-aging sheet mask, the mask helps with fine lines and wrinkles.

DID IT HELP?

Well, unlike its claim, I did not see any instant change in my skin. Just a well hydrated face, like when I use any other sheet mask. But, I’m not the one to judge a product by using it just once. So, I used it a couple of times in the last two weeks.

MY THOUGHTS..

This felt like any other sheet mask except it didn’t help with anything. Yes, my face was well hydrated, but neither did it help with giving me an even tone finish nor did it tighten my skin. It didn’t even make my skin feel supple. I did have a mild glow on my face, which was short lived. What I did like was the cooling effect of this mask, which no other mask has!

Weirdly, it helped with my under eyes bags and reduced the swelling on my face.
