Alright then, according to our poll on Instagram and Facebook, you all wanted a review of this product over Toni & Guy Damage Repair Conditioner. So here it goes..

2. Extremely safe for color treated hair

3. Their base ingredients are all natural

4. Not tested on animals

Main Ingredients :

1. Coconut Oil

2. Keratin Proteins

3. Avocado Oil

4. Cocoa Butter (You can smell it. Yum!)

Coming to the review now... I have been using this conditioner for a little over a month now, I bought it because of all the craze in the market about this product, although I wasn't really looking to smoothen out my wavy hair, I thought I will give it a shot.

PRODUCT PROMISE :

"Will help smooth and strengthen your curly or wavy tresses"

DID IT?

Yes and No. If you are planning to buy this product with the hopes that you will one day have straight or almost straight hair.. well, you will not. But, it did strengthen my unmanageable wavy hair a little. In defense of this conditioner, you all must know I have extremely damaged, chemically treated hair. it would take a mighty product to break through my hair. So, for the sake of a fair review I asked my mother and my best friend to try this product.

Moms Verdict - whose hair is also colored often (not as much as mine) and has thick wavy hair, fell in love with the fragrance and the texture of this conditioner.

Again, it made her hair soft, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Best Friends Verdict - whose hair is straight to begin, but has a little frizz and her hair is not chemically treated. She loved it and will continue using it, she said it helped calm her frizzy hair, it gave her dull hair a lot of shine and bounce. She also mentioned that the conditioner helped with strengthening her roots and hair fall has decreased by a slight amount while washing the hair.

PROS :

1. This conditioner (750ml) will last you a lifetime, the texture is thick and creamy, a little will go a long way.

2. The subtle fragrance of the coconut and cocoa butter lingers in your hair

3. Does help with reducing hair breakage during hair wash

4. Untangles hair smoothly when applied

5. It does work well on virgin hair

6. There is no risk of using this conditioner. It either does what it says or it will just work like any normal conditioner

CONS :

1. It's expensive - 1,295/- for 750ml

2. Hard to use because its heavy

3. Doesn't work well on chemically treated hair

4. Doesn't work well on damaged hair

Will I buy this again?

No! It just was not meant for my hair.
