About a year back I visited a salon to get my hair coloured, after the treatment the hair stylist asked me if I wanted to get an olaplex treatment. I did and I loved it, I liked the result so much I bought a bottle for myself and since then I have bought this product a couple of times.

WHAT IS IT and WHAT DOES IT DO?

Unlike your normal conditioner or overrated hair spa treatments this isn’t a conditioner of any type, it’s a bond builder. It rebuilds and repairs the broken disulfide bonds and returns your hair to its natural state.

IS IT ANY GOOD?

I love this treatment, over time your hair gets damaged because of different treatments, colouring and chemicals, to have a product that seeps deep into the hair and fixes the damaged hair is amazing. The best part is you can tell the difference with the first use. I will be using olaplex until they stop selling it. This is a promising product!

HOW TO USE IT?

I don’t really apply the product near my roots, I have coloured hair tips, so wherever my hair is dry and damaged, I apply a little on damp hair so it spreads evenly and leave it on for about half an hour. Apply it before shampoo and conditioner on slightly wet hair.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW..

A lot of salons have the olaplex treatment but it’s a little too expensive, this is a take home bottle which is also expensive but not as much as getting it done at the salon. The treatment at the salon for my shoulder length hair was 1,500/-. This is a 100ml bottle which has lasted me for about 6 months now. I use it once a month, so I’ve used it 6 times and there is still enough left for another two rounds.
